The Philips Lumiblade product “LivingSculpture” designed by WHITEvoid is finally on the market

euroluce 02Philips Lumiblade presents the LivingSculpture 3D module system designed by WHITEvoid at the Euroluce trade fair during the Salone Internazionale del Mobile in Milan. The system is now officially launched to the marked commercially available. The advanced OLED ceiling lighting system can be configured and ordered via the products webconfigurator also designed and programmed by WHITEvoid. WHITEvoids LivingSculpture design has won the prestigious Red Dot Product Design Award and the iF Product Design Award.

WHITEvoid designs LivingSculpture 3D module system for Philips


The “LivingSculpture 3D module system” is the latest addition to the Philips “LivingSculpture” product family. WHITEvoid designed a modular plug and play OLED system that allows for infinite variations in layout and arrangement of a ceiling or wall lighting installation. The highly flexible system consists of an online configurator to create and order the individual arrangement, a plug and play modular hardware system and an iPad controlled light animation application.

WHITEvoid creates LivingSculpture kinetic installation for Philips

The LivingSculpture kinetic installation was created by WHITEvoid as the center piece for the Philips trade fair stand at the Light+Building trade fair 2012 in Frankfurt.

The installation is composed of 24 movable triangular aluminium frames carrying 864 ultra thin glass OLEDs (organic light emitting diodes) all together. 24 of these movable frames form the hexagonal arrangement of the installation with a diameter of 6 meters. Computer controlled slowly changing and evolving movement and luminance patterns accent the OLED specific mirror and light surface texture.
