The user can choose from various preset ‘theme-worlds’ or import his or her own 3D-worlds. The music can therefore be enhanced with animated 3D objects, video-mapping, and patterns of light, color and perspective. With either a computer keyboard, midi-keyboard, or onscreen menu, the user can choose, modify and influence in-sync to the beat of the music everything from 3D objects, colors, lights, cameras and even animations.

3DJ’s 2-camera stereoscopic output has been developed for the clubs and discos of the future that will feature fully immersive stereoscopic 3D-projections. People will be able to dance in the middle of a graphical thunderstorm, and not just in front of a simple two-dimensional screen.
