QUANTUM DOT – a dance of light and color
WHITEvoid was invited by MDLab Cheil to collaborate with other artists on a highlight installation for the new Samsung Quantum Dot TV at the Samsung’s appearance at the Internationale Funkausstelung (IFA) 2016 in Berlin.
Visitors are surrounded by the vibrant particles where light plays with brilliant color and reflections. Seemingly random elements form a larger organic three-dimensional structure like the atoms of a molecule. QUANTUM DOT installation consists of 52 SUHD TVs and around 8500 pieces of colored glass suspended from the ceiling on 630 wires.
