DEEP WEB is returning to the iconic KRAFTWERK BERLIN in July 2019!
DEEP WEB is a monumental immersive audiovisual installation and live performance created by light artist Christopher Bauder and composer and musician Robert Henke. Presented in the spectacular industrial venue of the former power plant, DEEP WEB will plunge audiences into a mesmerizing experience of space and time.
Until now, DEEP WEB has only been shown to the public twice for a short time: as a five-day preview during CTM Festival 2016 at KRAFTWERK BERLIN and at Fête des Lumières in Lyon in December of the same year. In summer 2019, DEEP WEB will return to its iconic birthplace, where Berliners and city guests will have six weeks to take part in this breathtaking art experience.

SKALAR – Art Installation and Performance at Kraftwerk Berlin
SKALAR – REFLECTIONS ON LIGHT AND SOUND
SKALAR is a large-scale art installation that explores the complex impact of light and sound on human perception. Light artist Christopher Bauder and musician Kangding Ray give an audio-visual narration of radiant light vector drawings and multi-dimensional sound inside the pitch-dark industrial space of Kraftwerk Berlin. By combining a vast array of kinetic mirrors, perfectly synchronized moving lights and a sophisticated multi-channel sound system, SKALAR reflects on the fundamental nature and essence of basic human emotions. With its titular Turmoil theme, CTM Festival 2018 sets the perfect environment to launch the artistic venture of SKALAR.

STALACTITE – Art Light Installation at Bright Brussels Festival 2018
STALACTITE is the monumental art light installation created by light artist Christopher Bauder and musician Boris Divider. The immense structure composed of 360 light fixtures resembles a inverted pyramid network. It floats in the space and invites spectators to free their minds and enter the meditative world of STALACTITE. The layers of light create pulsating light animations generating complex shapes and light patterns which are directly synchronized with the electronic score.
The structure oats above the public. It invites the spectators to enter the meditative audio-visual world. The visitors gather beneath STALACTITE and become part of the installation. The sequential, minimalist and progressive audio-visual journey that STALACTITE takes people on, runs continuously in a loop so each visitor can enter or exit at any time.
