WHITEvoid designs and realizes THE INVISIBLE KITCHEN installation for Miele at the heart of Milan in Zona Tortona for the Design Week 2016.
Exhibition takes visitors on an exciting journey to the kitchen of the future: networked and convenient, providing inconceivable cooking and culinary experiences. The kitchen of the future remains mysteriously invisible and formally unmaterialized. Massive light ring with more than 3500 decoration elements rises above visitors and serves as a stage and a central location for the spectacular show. The installation uses multiple projections on glass surfaces, which interact with show chefs and is complimented by lighting animations of the outer decoration ring.
The focus of the interactive cooking show is not individual devices or technologies, but the processes, the cycle of cooking and cooking experience itself. The installation shows the futuristic vision of a kitchen, which actively supports and assists the people.
