FORWARD CURRENT – multitouch console
A quiet stream of iridescent bubbles float across an almost 4-meter wide screen surface. It appears to be a view from underwater moving toward the sunny surface.
This multitouch widescreen exhibit aims to display various product’s features and functions in a rather playful way. The screen surface is sensitive to touch and allows for unlimited user interactions. Visitors can drag and drop the bubbles onto marked areas at the bottom of the screen.
The bubbles then open in a sparkling animation and reveal information and trivia about the product. Visitors are able to interact and play or simply watch these virtual bubbles, opening the possibility for a light and interesting way to get information.
HEAD OVER HEELS – kiosk system
HEAD OVER HEELS is a stand-alone kiosk system with integrated computer and video projection systems. Touch sensors at the bottom of the screen plate allow for instinctive user interaction.
Products mounted on top of a rear projection screen can be linked and enhanced with projected animations. Texts and images explaining the exhibit are displayed next to the actual product. A three-dimensional navigation menu gives quick access to product features, images and illustrations.
360° CINEMA – audiovisual surround show
The 360-degree cinema features six HD video projections with an 8-channel surround sound system that is controlled by custom software and only one desktop PC. Twenty people at a time can enjoy the 4-minute long audiovisual show. A projected female moderator leads the presentation.
The moderator moves freely across the 33-meter wide screen. As she moves through the space, her voice and the illustrating sound effects follow her along the 360-degree screen. This demonstrates extended audio functions as well as directional and spatial hearing.
The spectators are encouraged therefore to move around during the show allowing the moderator and the graphics to stay in focus. The production involved the design of the cinema construction, a bluebox studio shooting, post-production compositing as well as custom playback system development.
FLOW SCREEN – step through projection screen
The FLOW SCREEN is an entrance area application. Visitors step right through the dry mist surrounded by free floating animations. Animations can be time-based or interactive. Projection technology by FogScreen.inc
